Fierce, melodic, powerful, dark, brutal and highly sophisticated. This is a good example how devastating black metal can be if it comes together with diverse songwriting and skilled musicians. May be it's even the best example. Deus Mortem are simply great and they will take you with them by use of their dynamic force. mourner

This album is just 100/100, like so many albums from mgla. How can a band hit the spot so many times? They are incredible. Thank you for accompanying me almost daily these days :) adrianradillo

Swirling guitars, furious drums, vocals that at the same time howl from infinite distance and are right up in your head; everything put into dissonant form with the help of unconventional songwriting. This album is my personal key to the icelanding black metal madness that I've ignored for way too long! Lukas Kaufmann
Featuring members of Noothgrush, Graves at Sea, and more, the Oakland metal band juxtapose cavernous doom with spaced-out shoegaze. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 21, 2024

This whole album is flawless. This is music for walking in the rain and letting your thoughts run. It's not just a collection of songs, but an actual album. yakbone
